Luckie Pierre is a boutique management firm, label, and film sync/production company founded in 2002 by writer/director Graham Kurzner (fairy tale of new york, kids in the hall) and film/game producer Todd Eckert (Control 2007, NASCAR 2011). Luckie Pierre started as a small upstart label for the uk band Arnold (sony/bmg, creation, poptones) and it wasn’t long before we added artist management in 2003. We have worked with: trespassers william, grand hallway, arthur yoria, little massive, arnold & carmen rosa(uk), voyager one, buddy, Sky Cries Mary and more. Currently we manage buddy, window View, and consult several more artists. Recnetly we added Tour Management to our list of services and just completed work with the lovely and talented Sara Bareilles. Our Filmed Entertainment/Sync side is currently developing a number of filmed projects and we continue to place music in Film & TV as well as offer Music Supervision services to filmmakers.
Our mission is to help up-and-coming artists as well as established artists reach their artistic and financial goals with recording, writing, touring, placements, and releasing. In 2009 we made our services available to non-management clients via our consultation services. It is our hope that we can help other artists seeking directing and advice on a per-need basis to help direct their careers no matter if they are just starting out or been at it for a while and not sure what to do next. Recently Luckie Pierre was hired to work with Operation Aloha (Maroon 5, Gomez, Phantom Planet) and were able to secure them representation at Big Hassle PR in New York City and assisted The Wellspring on their upcoming tour with Pete Yorn.
Get Luckie! – aka The Couch Music Series moved from the Lava Lounge after 2 seasons to the historical hollywood bar 3 Clubs in 2007. With one last show in 2009 at the now defunked Tangier! Get Luckie series are now sadly over. What was billed by local LA press as “an insiders night of music open to everyone” is sadly missed. Were not sure when Get Luckie will return but we will keep you posted!
